Handsewing
What a stupid idea! Who wants to handsew with a new Bernina in the house...? That's exactly what I wanted to do on this dark, rainy day off from work.
I already have one handsewing project, which is not finished. My stars in vintage fabric. The hexagons are for a bag project and they are ready to the handsewing part, but it will not be today. We are invited to dinner with some very good friends and beside that, I have to finish a knitting sweater during the weekend.

Det ser bare så godt ud :) Nu har jeg jo aldrig lært at quilte eller patchworke. Men syr du stoffet fast til pappet? eller? Og syr du dem sammen i hånden bagefter?

Det ER godt med de hexagoner, Hanne. Det er det nu også med stjernerne, men jeg er bagud med klipningen af dem. Det skal helst ligge klart lige ved hånden.

I remember very well how I started sewing my stars for a big quilt - by hand - just after I got my new sewing machine... how do those handsewing projects manage to win over the new and shiny machines?!
