Checkered House Purse
A Japanese inspired house purse (approx. 15 x 15 cm) for keys, money or whatever you prefer. This project has been on the to-do-list since I got this book. Today was the day.
Sometimes I ask myself why a 48 years old women loves making pouches with hedgehogs, appliqued strawberries..... It's not because I expect people to buy them. I just have so much fun making them! It's not possible not to make them. That's reason enough for me.
The purse is for sale in my Etsy Shop.

Mette! You did it again! This one is so fabulous!!! Adorable! I will be showing a Japanese book on quilted houses soon. I think you will enjoy seeing it if you haven't already. Although I don't think you need any more inspiration! You are making so many wonderful things!
