A colleague of mine is expecting a baby later this year. Great when someone gives me an opportunity to make baby stuff.
I have long wanted to make the Cloth Shoes by Stardust Shoes. I have used linen for the sole and heel and white cotton with elephants for the top. The heel and top lining are made of white and yellow gingham.
The elephant fabric is available in this Danish fabric shop, Malika and Rosa. The shoe tutorial is great - try it! I definetely have to make more of these lovely shoes.
Yellow, orange and green vintange fabric inside the reversible bag. You can find a tutorial for the bag here. I think the bags are great as gift wrapping. I'm not sure, if I can wait to giveaway my gift. I hope my colleague is satisfied with the retro flowers inside if she gives birth to a boy.
The flowers and dots are also from Malika and Rosa. Lovely!

love the fabric

How cute shoes and the vintage fabric is so lovely! I ought to start to sew a baby quilt for my friend´s first grandchild. The shoes could be nice for the baby too. Thanks for the idea! I´ve made cleaning during the weekend, but last Friday I was in neighbour town at fleamarket around. I got more buttons again and of course lovely old Arabia cups and saucers. Tomorrow to Marimekko fabric sale!!! Have a nice week!

Hello Mette,
I`m visiting your blog for a very long time. Today I was very astonished. Did you really change your blog-design? The new picture looks very, very nice, but I'm missing the little ladies! But as I recommend for me always some changes, I can understand you.
Best regards
christine
