Yesterday I made this apron - true recycling (...not the white and purple gingham...).
All you need is a vintage cloth, retro bed linen and fabric for the ribbon to tie. Decorate the apron in your own personal style. Bottom of the apron is white lace ribbon - leftovers from the christening robe I made for my son in 1986.
I always enjoy working with the mix of something new and old. I think, it's more personal that way.
Olivia, age 15, doesn't think, that the apron is suitable, when I cook pasta bolognese. She's right - I will wear the apron, when I'm baking.
